Corinne Newton is releasing her latest single, Next Year Country, on all digital platforms on May 17.  The song is a reflection of the struggles of our farmers and ranchers and how, with each year, they overcome so many challenges - many beyond their control. Some obstacles are just too big, but "there's always next year".

Corinne grew up on a farm in Manitoba.  She currently lives near Central Butte where she farms with her husband and 2 children. Her rural background, farming lifestyle, and agricultural roots are where the lyrics to her songs are derived from. With her acoustic guitar in hand, she can leave you in tears with her originals sung from the heart, or have your toes tapping while performing your favourite country and classic rock cover songs.

Corinne has recorded four albums…Wave (2010), Party Line (2013), Chasing Butterflies (2015), and Real Life Reality (a 6 song EP) (2021).   Her song "Prairie Town" was selected for a compilation cd to celebrate Swift Current’s Lyric Theatre’s 100th year celebration in 2012.  In 2014 she was a Roots Artist nominee at the 2014 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards where she performed on the Roots Cafe stage. In 2016, “Chasing Butterflies” was nominated for roots album at the SCMA’s.

You can catch her performing solo this summer at the Stomping Grounds Music Festival in Eyebrow on June 22, and in Riverhurst at the Bean festival on July 27 (both as a solo act and with Bradford's Corner). Check www.corinnenewton.com for her social media links and for upcoming shows as they are added.
